Need a shed? Carpentry has been working building two sheds in their new shop space! Please email Mr. Bernier (rbernier@rsu1.org) if you have questions or are interested in acquiring one of these lovely structures.
Students will now have an extra incentive for talking about their future! Each time a student has a conversation with an adult at Bath Tech regarding post-grad plans (such as employment, college or technical school, financial planning, etc.) they may enter themselves into a raffle to win a gift card! The best news? Instructors will be entered to win as well!

The Carpentry program collaborated with the Age Friendly Communities of the Lower Kennebec to design and build three concrete chess and checker tables to be installed in Downtown Bath. The students created the molds, mixed and poured the concrete, and created the inlaid tile boards. There will be an intergenerational opening event on Saturday, November 6th with refreshments and an opportunity to play a game on these new tables! To see more pictures, please check out this week's newsletter which will hit Facebook and our web page on Friday.

Good afternoon,
Morse and Bath Tech had two unexpected fire alarms today. Neither of these alarms was due to actual emergencies but rather issues with our new system. The Bath Fire Department did respond to the school in order to assure that the building was safe for students and staff to reenter.
Thank you,
Julie Kenny
Director
Upon review of all recent COVID-19 cases with our Maine CDC outbreak investigator, our school physician, Dr. Amina Hanna, and our School Nurse, Katrina Barter, we are confident at this point that all cases were a result of community spread and that no in-school transmission or transmission during athletic programming has taken place. Therefore, Morse and Bath Tech will return to in-person learning this Thursday and Friday, April 15 and 16.
We understand that some schools are still remote and are not permitted to participate in person. Those students should check Brightspace for a remote assignment each day.
